Yes I would love to work with you to create a personal painting just for you.
Commission Fee: 50%+ over the standard price of a painting the size you wish to commission. So a 36"x36" painting would normaly be $1350, add 50% to that and your painting will cost $2025 plus shipping.
How a commission works: First you give me an idea of what you are looking for style and color-wise and the size. Letting me know which of my other paintings you like is a helpful starting point. Sending me pictures of the place you plan to hang the painting is also helpful. Are there colors in the room you would like me to pickup? Are there any colors you hate? It is best for everyone if I don't have to work too far outside me comfort level with my palette of colors but hey I like a reach project as well. I charge more for a commission piece because it involves a lot of conversations with you the customer. I want everything to be just right and this also adds stress and worry on my part because I am a perfectionist and a people pleaser. Also know that I can fire you as a client as easily as you can fire me as an artist.
Payment: After our first conversation and if I feel I can meet your request there is a 25% non-refundable down payment due. Then I will provide you with color samples and a composition idea. Once this is approved and additional 25% non-refundable payment is due. Once the paintings is finished and you approve the photos of it then the balance of 50% plus the crating and shipping charges are due before shipping.
