This painting is titled "Moving Along A Line".   Most of my paintings are about the elements of nature and its interaction with man. This is another one of my favorite paintings and I can't tell you exactly why. I love the layers in it that all my paintings have but they work especially well in this piece. I like how subtle the coloration is with bits of stronger colors popping through and then the bold red lines on top.  As with most of my paintings I work improvisational and I work with my materials to develop my paintings the way they seem to want to evolve. I try to create visual movement in my art whenever possible and with movement you get sound. I want my work to provide excitement, mystery and peace at the same time.
