Addison Paige #9 Inclination Towards Movement

30" x 40" x 1 1/2" Acrylic and charcoal on canvas.
Wind and movement are important elements in my work as are the suggestions of
plant life. I finished this painting just in time to deliver it for a charity
art auction and I had no time to enjoy it or appreciate the feeling of energy
it conveyed. This painting left my studio too soon, I usually keep my paintings for awhile after I finish them for my own enjoyment, and so I can learn
from them and to use them to grow my next paintings which develop from the ideas that started to grow in my previous paintings.
I have continued the painting over the edge of the gallery wrapped canvas so
that this painting does not require framing.
