Addison Paige #41 In the Path of the Wind

I wanted to try a painting that didn't have to bold line drawings that I use on most of my paintings. To me this one is a quieter more subtle piece. But like so many of my paintings it speaks of the wind in the feathered brush strokes and of tall grass in a field being blown around and almost beaten down only to spring back up again. I feel so much energy when I am out in the open when a storm is headed towards me and is preceded by strong gusting winds. 

I have continued the painting over the edge of the gallery wrapped canvas so that this painting does not require framing.
