Addison Paige #34 The Crow That Walked Away

I have used crows and ravens in my art on and off since college. I loved seeing brightly colored birds on the deck outside my home when I was a kid but the birds that interested me the most for some reason were the big solid black crows that showed up and chased away the other birds. When I was working on this painting a crow appeared in the under painting so I brought it to the forefront when I was workingon the final layer of drawing. 

I have continued the painting over the edge of the gallery wrapped canvas so that this painting does not require framing.
