Addison Paige #31 A Constant Wind

#31 36" x 36" x 1 7/8" Acrylic and charcoal on canvas. 

I grew up in Florida and there were times when it felt like the wind would never stop blowing. This painting reminds me of that wind as it blows over a low marshy landscape of waving saw grass surrounding old abandoned wooden shacks that have been beaten and worn down by these winds over the years. 

I have continued the painting over the edge of the gallery wrapped canvas so that this painting does not require framing.
