Where the edge of snow meets the beginning of nature and organic growth. When I thought of the title I realized this paintings was about a place such as the arctic and how climate change has moved the line between perpetual snow and organic growth further south with alarming speed. White has been a "color" I have mostly stayed away from as an artist but now I see white as having a lot of energy and potential.
I continue my paintings over the edge of the gallery wrapped canvas so that they do not need to be framed.
