Addison Paige #119 Not to Be Boxed In
#119 36" x 36" x 1 1/2" Acrylic and Charcoal on Canvas 2015
I thought I would see what having more of a structure would feel like in a painting so I used more blocked in color sections and limited the amount of drawn lines on the top of the paint. It definitely has a more contained feel to it. It is also a quieter piece than other paintings. I can be quieter sometimes.
I continue my paintings over the edge of the gallery wrapped canvas so that they do not need to be framed.
