Both my parents were scientists and there were many detailed scientific conversations at our dinner table when I was growing up and science still is interesting to me and frequent finds its way into my art. I this painting the different shapes and marks represent the coming together of different molecular elements.
I have continued the painting over the edge so that this piece does not need to be framed.

This painting is titled "Another Wind Plays". Most of my paintings are about the elements of nature and its interaction with man. As with most of my paintings I work improvisational and I work with my materials to develop my paintings the way they seem to want to evolve. I try to create visual movement in my art whenever possible and with movement you get sound. I want my work to provide excitement, mystery and peace at the same time.
